Summer Program
Ankeny Christian Child Care's Summer Program is open to current attending families and (depending upon availability) summer-only enrolled participants. Ankeny Christian School Agers participate in a summer they will never forget. Full of dirt, learning, building, destroying, mess making, adventures, field trips, activities, and visitors.
Christian Character Belts
Children at ACCC work on acquiring 9 Bible (like ninja) belts of character. Children achieve these belts through various opportunities during the entire summer. Children can earn a belt through woodworking, volunteering, bible knowledge, gift giving, arts & crafts, and STEM participation.
Field Trips/Visitors
During the summer months our School agers participate in on-campus and off-campus adventures. Check out our list of past field trips below. In addition to field trips, we have many community members who visit our facility during Career week, Pet Week, and our Favorite "Christmas In July" to name a few. In addition to our themed activities like Pioneer week (Living History Farms FT) we also do weekly projects that support our learning and research.
Children at Ankeny Christian Summer Program also actively participate in outreach projects that are chosen by the children. Our School Agers host ice cream socials and make things explode during a summer that will create lifelong memories.
